Chris Cruz is the Senior Managing Director of Essential Housing at Standard Communities, focused on creating and preserving workforce and affordable housing communities nationwide. In his role he oversees the platform’s investment activities, asset management and construction functions, capital markets transactions, and investor relations. Since forming the Essential Housing platform in 2021, Mr. Cruz has led the division to complete over $2.1 billion in multifamily transactions.
