I joined the Army in mid 2007 to serve my country and to better myself for a career move which gave me my GI Bill in which I am currently using to go to college. I was deployed and stationed in various places with leadership responsibilities where I was in charge of other soilders.

I started out as a lathe operator/setup and then acquired core prep where I handled high priced molds and made sure they were spotless to be filled with Urethane then processed in the oven for final product. I can set up a lathe with stone wheels and can set the rest up to make final production. I also worked with various tools such as calipers and micrometers.

I was trained on a CNC machine that is a little more advanced than your typical machine. It had more axis’s and was computerized and ran programs to trim fiberglass parts for various companies. The axis's consisted of A, B, C, U, X, Y, and Z. I know how to set up tool measurements and run the program that needed to be ran. I know some of the CNC codes for changing various things and how to use them in case an issue comes along if there's a problem with the machine. I also had to learn how to read diagrams of the parts and measure the parts to make sure they matched correctly. I was trained on how to make fiberglass parts out of resin with molds and glass and how much to add to a specific part.
