• Comply with the Sale of Liquor Act of 1989 and it’s amendments, Smoke Free Environments Act of 2003 and the Gambling Act of 2003.• Comply with the terms and conditions of the premises liquor and gaming license(s).• Ensure that all staff are aware of their obligations pursuant to the Sale of Liquor Act 1989 and the company liquor license is not jeopardized, this includes patron conduct and intoxication.• Assume responsibility for the liquor inventory control and purchasing for the business ensuring no “stock outs” occur, integrity is maintained in the stock control system, weekly assessment are completed, variances are reported and remedial action is taken.• Ensure a cost effective bar. Roster is displayed weekly in advance/minimized damaged equipment, liquor wastage/staff theft, keeping the bar clean at all times.• Prepare and introduce an on-going calendar of cost effective promotional initiatives in consultation with the Top Management.• Undertake regular surveys of competitor outlets to, ascertain pricing party and promotional activity.• Ensure all funds and proceeds belonging to the business are secure and locked and that it is locked in the safe before leaving the premises.• Ensure the premises is a safe environment for all patrons and staff at all times complies with OSH requirements.• Participate as a constructive member of the management team with the view to maximizing business sales volumes and profitability.
