Initially employed as a Challenger 2 MBT crewman, maintaining and operating the British Army's main battle tank. Then selected to train as an Advanced Signaller, becoming a subject matter expert on the complex Bowman communications system.Second to this, qualified as a physical training instructor, taking and planning daily lessons in fitness as well as mentoring and analysing progress. Project managed various events - from small sports tournaments to large health conventions and reporting directly to the upper echelons of command.Also qualified as an assistant Counter IED instructor; training soldiers in life saving skills before deployment to Afghanistan.Service across three continents, both on exercise and operations. As a commander (earning rapid promotion), was directly involved in the administration, training and discipline of junior soldiers.
