I am a junior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee and I am working towards a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Supply chain and a concentration in Business Analytics with a Philosophy minor. I have always been able to change myself on the fly and adaptability is one of my strengths. At my previous job as a front of store attendant at Target, I was able to work in multiple departments outside of what I was hired to do when it was necessary. I am always looking for new things to learn. Strategic thinking is also one of my strengths, and a good example of that is at my current job as a sales associate at Carpenter Novelties. I am constantly looking at past examples, and entertaining multiple ideas before making decisions at work which has led me to rarely being taken by surprise when at work. My career goal is to work in the Supply Chain industry with a focus on logistics. Looking at data and being able to properly interpret and make decisions about how to optimize transportation networks is extremely interesting to me. I enjoy seeing high efficiency, and would love to be a part of a team that is directly involved in the process of making the network efficient. I am able to think strategically at a very high level in logistics, and that is something that is very entertaining to me and a place I excel. I have also lived in Knoxville my whole life and have seen industry leaders right in my hometown, so I am naturally drawn to the supply side of industry.
