I'm a qualified actuary who's worked for GAD since 2008 (having qualified in 2011). My main interests at work are around Public Sector Pension Schemes and valuation systems, I used to manage our prevous internal valuation system at GAD. I am also interested in the exam process for trainee actuaries and am the accreditation lead for Universities for the IFoA. I now lead a team of around 80 people in the Analytical Solutions team who specialise in producing analytical work across the department.Away from work my main interests are running (I'm a member of the Reigate Priory Athletics Club) and long distance walking. My greatest achievement outside work was (just) running a sub 3 hour marathon in 2019.I also try to exercise my creative side through writing stories and photography.
