I lead a team of over 80 people who provide Actuarial Analysis for client facing teams within GAD and ultimately clients all across Government. We have a particular focus on improving our processes and developing the skills of the team to enable us to meet future challenges.

As Client Service Director I oversaw various high profile client projects withing the Public Service Pension Scheme team.

As an Actuary at GAD I experienced a mix of client consultancy for various pension schemes including LGPS, FPS and NHSPS as well as a period working as the Head of Development for the newly formed Actuarial Services Team. That role made me responsible for the development of various cross-scheme valuation tools across all twenty Public Service schemes that were involved in the valuation process.

Played major role in transition to new business systemCut the number of outstanding customer returns from 300 to 150 in two months, well above management expectations.
