I am responsible for school partnerships, sales and marketing (and GDPR somehow!) at Sandwell Residential Education Service; a family of 4 brilliant residential learning centres.As the local government funding model changes, I am part of the team ensuring that SRES is sustainable and carries out its mission to work with schools from around the UK, and specifically reach the young people of Sandwell.

Ingestre, Staffordshire

I joined Ingestre Arts, part of Sandwell Council's Residential Education Service, to help recognise the potential as the UKs only dedicated residential arts centre. After 6 month the role evolved to work across Sandwell's 4 residential centre, but retained a keen focus on Ingestre and helped the centre exceed its revenue and participant targets in 2017/18.

Hackthorpe, Cumbria

I was responsible for the development and execution of a strategic plan with the overall aim of increasing the number of young people taking part in Outward Bound summer programmes. Specific responsibility was for revenue generation, partner retention and development, programme innovation and leading the Individuals Business Development Team. The position included a key role in developing a new flagship programme - The Outward Bound Skills for Life Award - which is delivered to 15-19 year olds each summer. The purpose was to offer life-long employability skills, a fresh perspective, the tools to articulate learning and a life shaping adventure.Participation grew by 49% in a single year, and revenue by over 36% between 2014 and 2016.Growth was primarily through establishing partnerships with like minded organisations, charities, trusts and foundations, and working closely with the Trust's delivery professionals, marketing, fundraising, Education and Corporate Business Development teams.

I joined The Outward Bound Trust's newly established Education Business Development team as part of a restructure in 2005.The purpose was to increase the number of schools and young people taking part in education courses at Outward Bound by cultivating deeper relationships and building a working knowledge of the education sector so that new projects and solutions could be developed. I led on the Trust's early work during Academisation, vocational education programmes, pupil premium funding initiatives, and the development of a "solutions selling" approach.

Walsall, United Kingdom

The role was to support the lobbying and representation of Chamber member businesses, increase the membership base and support member access to resources. I also ran and attended member events and network business meetings.
