As a Group Accountant for Social Services at City & County of Swansea, I provide financial advice and guidance to the senior management team, lead the annual budget process, and coordinate in-year monitoring and reporting. I have over 20 years of local government experience and a CIPFA professional accountancy qualification.I have very strong Excel skills and experience in using Oracle systems, including Fusion. I have supported high-profile projects such as Equal Pay settlements and the implementation of equality-proofed pay structures, as well as the routine tasks expected of a senior member of the accountancy team. I have recently completed the ILM Level 5 qualification and was awarded the Gower College Leadership & Management apprentice of the year. I am committed, hardworking, and easy to get along with.
