My role was to predominantly act as the first point of contact for UK colleagues wishing to work with the team in India. I was responsible for coordinating and procuring a variety of engineering projects as well as providing the team with on the job training and support. In order to learn how things are constructed and how operations are carried out on site I undertook summer placements with Dawnus Construction during the summers of 2005 and 2007. I developed skills in Profiling, levelling, setting out, reading and interpreting engineering drawings and managing orders for site delivery.
