I have been a chef for 12 years. I am proficient with all culinary equipment and tools. Through those years, I have gained management and administrative skills as well as recipe and menu writing and development, scheduling, interviewing, team building, managing, teaching, product ordering, basic bookkeeping, and customer service. I have held my private pilot license for 10 years. I earned my instrument rating in 2023. I have flown in inclement weather, short local flights, volunteer flights with youth with the EAA, to long distance flights with flight times in excess of five hours. I am adept in logistics with ground shipping, trucking and being an Armed Security Guard for 2 years now. I conduct pre and post trip inspections competently. I have attended multiple firearm training classes and have received training in defense, security, and situational awareness. All of these professional skills were built upon the foundation of character and leadership training through my journey in becoming an Eagle Scout. These varied professional skills are in addition to the varied skills that I have developed in my personal life, such as the ability to play multiple instruments, painting, sewing, and blacksmithing.
