• Create programs CNC machining centers for sheet metal fabrication shop by analyzing and interpreting supplied drawings, blueprints and specifications.• Review drawings and models for revision changes. Updates programs as needed.• Use Tops 100 – Laser Cutting, Tops 300 – Punch Press, Trutops – Laser and Punch Press software for modeling of machined and assemblies. (Class 1 level)• Plan machining by studying drawing and specifications.• Determine type of work and plan for material and program.• Read, interpret and convert design drawing before releasing to shop floor.• Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.• Develop and embrace new concepts & ideas for improvement and implementation.

• Create new product drawings/models • Create / update product drawings & calculations necessary for product modifications • Research requested changes and generate and track ECR's (Engineering Change Requests) & NPR's (New Product Requests) • Make drawing/model changes for ECR's & NPR's • Check drawings and bills of materials for accuracy • Assist in CAD system management as required
