CurrentAs a turf grass intern at Carmel Country Club, I have the opportunity to work with three distinct types of grass across the club's two prestigious courses. This hands-on experience has allowed me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the unique maintenance requirements for each grass type, ensuring optimal playing conditions for members and guests. Daily tasks include monitoring turf health, assisting with mowing schedules, and applying treatments to promote vigorous growth. The diversity of grass species challenges me to adapt and apply various turf management techniques, enhancing my skills and knowledge in the field.
