In my working life I always strive to excel and do my very best. I have always had a passion to work with people. During my undergraduate degree I worked part time in a guesthouse (Roundwood House, Laois, Ireland). While there I quickly realised I loved working within the hospitality industry, and in fact it was something I excelled at. Ever since then when I imagine my future it has always involved owning and running my own business within the hospitality field. My passion is people, and delivering excellence. On a daily basis I take pleasure in seeing a guest smile from the simple fact I have provided this excellence in customer service for them, be it during check in, a simple product sale or helping solve some issue they experienced.In every position I have ever held I have shined. In Roundwood I was promoted from waiter to manager after one year despite being only 21 years of age and studying full time. While teaching I interviewed and was offered a middle management position after one and a half years before I had even signed a permanent contract. More recently I was offered promotion to Team Leader here in Clink after working here for just over one month. All of this is a testament to how hard I work, and my drive to go above and beyond. My work ethic is very strong and, as I have mentioned, this comes from my passion to work hard and always give my very best to any job I undertake. I strive to be proactive rather than reactive in my work.Both of my career paths to date have required me to be highly organised and pay attention to fine detail in my everyday work life. Making sure students get a quality education or ensuring ultimate customer and staff satisfaction come from the same place - by doing my job effectively but also ensuring other staff, guests or students are happy and motivated in theirs. This is an environment I strive to create always.
