 Implemented and enforced compliance and regulatory standards among engineers, technicians, and project managers to establish best business practices and troubleshoot areas of concern alongside Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Security Manager. Maintained Information Assurance Awareness Training records for more than 250 personnel.  Managed a team of four personnel to inspect, measure report, and improve physical security access measures to reduce and eliminate vulnerabilities through the use of Department of Defense and Department of Navy Directives.  Trained five personnel in assessing, detecting, annotating, and initiating mitigation response measures through the use of physical security and vulnerability assessments.  In conjunction with the Anti-Terrorism Officer, reported directly the Naval Air Station Commanding Office in an annual anti-terrorism/force protection exercise designed to ensure installations comply with Department of Defense and Department of Navy directives.

 Decreased manpower requirements by 20% by centrally locating management functions for three databases, as well as centrally locating hardware suites for one main and seven satellite OCONUS locations. As a result, more than 250 police department personnel benefited from 100% availability of voice and data communication services.  Maintained, managed, and provided customer service for more than 300 handheld radio communication devices, 150 computer terminals, and 100 landline phones to include all fiber connections, routers, and communications cabinets associated with twelve classified computer terminals contained within the Alternate Emergency Operations Center (AEOC). Implemented OS patches and upgrades for all computer terminals within area of professional responsibility.  Maintained, configured, and troubleshot telephony equipment used to record law enforcement calls within dispatch center. Achieved and successfully sustained 95% communication connection efficiency and transmission integrity over 4 years.  Completed restoration of IT systems, services, networks, and capabilities with Local Network Services Center (LNSNC). Ensured Information Assurance (IA) compliance. Proposed and implemented a new vehicular and handheld radio trunk system for law enforcement communication throughout Japan. The system remains operational, with nationwide communication among all military bases.
