I’ve held multiple jobs ranging from the food industry to retail to administrative/supervisor roles at large companies. I have many interests and relish an opportunity to try something new. My ideal standard of work is a position that challenges the way I think, forcing me to find new solutions to solve problems and complete tasks. Communication is key, working at Cintas, as route check-in supervisor, I was able to develop my communication skills. Talking and meeting with over 35 drivers a day led me to come up with new ways to improve results for the company. Demanding or expecting preferred return numbers simply did not work. Most drivers did not react well to another boss like figure telling them to do better, rather I found encouragement and guidance led to much improved results. I would create spreadsheets through Mircosoft excel to visually show each driver how and where they could improve their return numbers. Through tactics like these, I was able to raise our locations ranking on return numbers from 11th to 4th in the region. I consider myself a very personable individual and building constructive relationships with fellow coworkers is very important to me. Playing soccer my whole life and holding jobs in the food industry has taught me the value of being a good team player to accomplish a common goal as sufficiently and successfully as possible. I am confident of myself to work under pressure and work with urgency. Being employed in fast-moving industries I was often put under pressure to prepare/cook food or help customers in a very timely manner. I succeeded at this by keeping a cool head and focusing on one task at a time. During my time at Headstart Nursery, I also had to manage my time to deliver multiple large boxes of seed, on time, to many different customers a day. Talking to and delivering seeds to customers was a rewarding and enjoyable experience, one that taught me how to manage my time. I'm looking for a company with a healthy work environment, that not only values its employees but also offers individuals a chance to succeed and grow as an asset to the company.
