About Christopher Durban
After a 14 year career in radio (doing everything from being a DJ, editing content, and selecting the music the station plays) I became a full time content creator on YouTube. I created my movie review channel Durbania, and I spent six years learning how to grow my channel. Durbania isn't just a movie review channel, it is a channel where I love looking deeper into movies and find deeper theological themes. https://www.youtube.com/@ChrisDurbanDallas Jenkins creator, and director, of "The Chosen" discovered me after I reviewed the first season of the show. Within a year I was hired onto "The Chosen" staff, first as a behind scenes host. While a season is filming my co-host and myself take the fans behind the scenes and show them what we're doing each week, building community and a sense of ownership with the fans. This allows the fans a true inside look into the series, and allows them to be apart of the process of creating their favorite show. We post these videos weekly on "The Chosen" YouTube channel. https://youtu.be/ao9GM36D36Y?si=1I7Q5TGohNfsjPSKI also created "The Aftershow". When a brand new episode of "The Chosen" drops on the Chosen app, an episode of "The Aftershow" drops diving into that new episode of "The Chosen". My co-host and I talk to the cast, and get their reaction to the episode, behind the scenes stories, and takeaways they got.
