I am often required to perform other job roles such as stock control where ill be asked to assist in either correcting stock levels via linnworks or storing new stock into their appropriate location within the warehouse. I am also sometimes required to take a managerial role when my superior is away where I'll have to deligate roles to my colleagues and make sure everything still runs smoothly so that all orders are shipped to schedule and presented to our standards.I have also been asked on often occasions to refurbish some plastic parts, this requires me to clean a graded product, correct any irregularitys then proceed to repainting the product so it's at a grade A quality.For 3 years I have also been a first aider for the company where I have had to treat wounds from a small cut from a tape dispenser to someone breaking a leg.Sometimes, when the company has a large order, I also would have to use pallets to ship large amounts of products. I will be expected to fasten down the products to the pallet using polypropylene strapping and appropriate crimps as well as shrink wrapping the pallet to prevent any water damage that could occur during shipment.During my time here I have created spreadsheets that make use of macros to aid in printing pick sheets for orders as well as make appropriate labels for each order. This doesn't just help me speed up my own job but allows others to do the same making the department run much faster. Show less
