In this workplace, I uphold responsibilities and duties, which include; - Verify patrons of identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchases. - Serve wine, bottled or draft beer, liquor, and/or mixed drinks. - Limit issues related to customer intoxication by refusing to serve patrons or requesting taxis to transport intoxicated patrons home. - Clean bar and work area, and stock bar with alcohol, mixers, garnishes and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, and straws to maintain workflows and meet patron demands. - Collect payments for beverages - Connecting beer lines to the according kegs, Cellar Organisation

As a Store Assistant I upheld many multi-tasking responsibilities. Such as the following. I Acted as the first point of contact by welcoming customers within the store immediately or when I was able to. I engaged with customers in short dialogue to determine their purchasing needs and then I would escort/direct customers to the correct aisle or shelf that holds their choice of products. I would also provide customers with pricing information and any special discounts or promotions that the store is offering to ensure the customer feels they are treated and well looked after.Upon also working whilst on the floor I would be attaching price tags to each item and make sure that they reflect updated price information and be accurate. As we all knowing customer may require guidance. So in my role I understand that I would need to guide customers; to assist them making purchasing decisions. it was also critical to ensure that shelves are stocked properly and that all items and shelves are dusted and cleaned periodically for an efficient presentation. In which it would also be mindful to ensure the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the store.It was also a vital aspect to guide customers through the payment procedure by taking cash or processing credit cards in exchange of sold items and efficiently and promptly handle refunds and exchanges and associated paperwork in accordance to policy, Another upheld responsibility was the balance of cash registers at the end of the shift and to make sure that there is sufficient change available for the next shift.To make the environment of the workplace, and to ensure its efficiency. I would also be inclined to ensure that any discrepancies are communicated to the manager immediately, and to also take resolve customers complaints and relay complicated ones to the supervisor.
