Responsible for designing, implementing, and testing embedded software, as well as developing, testing, and implementing operating systems components, software tools, and utilities.Key Projects: • Integrated Power Console (IPC System) o Collaborated in a multi-disciplinary team to develop new powered handpieces (M5, MR8, Tumor resection) and provide sustaining support for end-of-life components in the console.• Nim-Vital (NERVE MONITORING SYSTEM) o Contributed to the recently released product, overseeing system power management, monitoring and charging of peripherals.• NIM-ECLIPSE E4 SYSTEM Intraoperative Neuromonitoring System o Contributed to the recently released product, overseeing system power monitoring and charging of peripherals during its first human use phase. o Provided escalated customer technical support and developed in-house utilities to support distribution.• Custom Test Equipment o Leveraged LabVIEW to capture motor control operating characteristics for extended life testing, identifying failure modes and verifying motor position control algorithms. o Design and build interface boards to automated test equipment used to control power console• New Product Development o Prototyped Bluetooth, RFID, NFC, CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, Rabbit AMQP, MQTT, and Free RTOS technologies to assess feasibility for future designs. o Implemented RTS hypervisor for hardware virtualization, supporting three operating systems (CENTOS, Windows) on a single hardware platform.
