I am an Instrumentation and Controls Technician recognized by the State of Arizona and United States Department of Labor for graduating a certified apprenticeship program.I have finished the classes for an Associates Degree in Applied Science and have been working in power generation for 10 years.For the last two years, I have specialized in high priority and high mental stress jobs as well as daily troubleshooting of plant issues. Many of these tasks have the ability to shut down the power plant if the proper steps are not taken. In this time, my work has become farther away from work order and procure based and closer to skill of the craft and knowledge based.
