Currently I work at LORD Corporation as a Senior Product Design Engineer in the Oil and Gas Department in Erie, Pa. I primarily focus on the design of elastomeric bearings for use in Offshore Oil Platforms. In this role my responsibilities include acting as the technical lead throughout the new product introduction process from proposal and design to manufacturing, testing, and final certification. I started at LORD as a Co-op in the Rotary Wing Department and assisted full-time engineers in the design of elastomeric bearings and dampers for use in helicopters. I was hired full-time by LORD into the Career Foundations, where I had the opportunity to work in various departments and industry groups. During this two-year program I had roles in: Product Management, Program Management, Marketing, and Manufacturing.
