I work with a cross functional team of packaging engineers to develop and approve all packaging for automotive service parts. Driving damage reduction projects by creating new packaging while fully testing them in our design lab. Finding cost saves year over year to save money. As the automotive industry changes style and value of parts increases the become more fragile and the packaging needs to evolve with the parts. I also have worked in bulk packaging for production as well as large all time buys for service parts. I developed the testing procedure used for our distribution network. I am the lead designer and am given the hardest projects that require the most extreme redesign of packaging. This is exciting and challenging because I can not resort to conventional packaging and need to develop truly unique designs. I work with a very large group of suppliers and customers on a daily basis. I have trained new engineers trying to get them acclimated and adjusted to the job as fast as possible. I have learned a lot in this position and it is constantly pushing me to improve myself.

I lead a team to drive sales in the electronic department as well as all of hardline items in the store. Constantly improving shelf lay outs and changing the ends of isles to sell more product. I frequently took the responsibility of new launch media and organized events to drive more sales. I covered all other departments as well and used manager status to override systems if necessary. I trained many employees as well as managers on how to do specific aspects of the job.
