ADAMS powertrain model correlated to acquired vehicle data. Model used to identify/confirm cause of rattle and suggest system and component changes to solve the issue. • Hybrid TPA to optimise powertrain mounting strategy. My role was to design marine floatation buoys and provide engineering support to the sales team.• Performed engineering estimates, following customer specifications and typical operating assumptions, to allow for more accurate sales quotations• Designed large structural steelwork for buoys, with associated strength and stability calculations, based on best practice guidelines. • Improved a large standard flotation buoy, redesigning the steelwork, to allow the same performance to be achieved using cheaper materials• Designed the steelwork and aluminium superstructures for a series of navigation buoys.
