I am responsible for analysing and reporting complex data to support service improvement in Bowel Screening Wales (BSW). Some of this work has involved automating data reporting through a variety of specialist software packages including MS-SQL, SSIS and Power Query M/Excel. Along with this I have been increasing my knowledge of DAX to enhance the visualisation and relational ability of the Power BI dashboard that I am currently developing. Some of these developments involve changing the current reporting methods in BSW; changing from reporting needing to be run on a fixed date every month to a reporting method that allows historic data to be reproduced reliably. Regular and ad-hoc data reporting involves extracting and cleansing data from multiple sources using some complex and conditional connections. Show less

During my undergraduate degree, I worked for a volunteer group TSC -Technical Services Committee - which manages events at our Student Union. My role varied from stage manager to sound or lighting engineer and involved working as a close team with each of us taking a lead in the different areas of technical event management. These events vary from small conferences to large gigs and multi venue events.

Constructing and dismantling stages for large music festivals across the whole of the UK. This was very physical work within a team, often over long hours as deadlines had to be kept.

Working as part of a team to ensure the day-to-day running of camp while individually managing groups’ safely, learning and enjoyment. My individual role was as a sailing instructor.
