Serves as the principal administrative personnel to the USAR Unit Commander in accomplishing the overall functions of the unit. As the day-to-day administrator of the organization, and top full-time civilian Army Reserve Technician in the unit to which assigned, assists the Commander in exercising the functions of command. Accomplishes the Commander's normal duties in the areas of training, administration, supply, maintenance, recruiting/retention, inspections, and liaison with higher headquarters and other units. Recruit and determine applicants enlistment eligibility, counsels applicants on enlistment programs and options, prepares enlistment applications and processes qualified applicants to enlist in the Army and Army Reserve. Accounts for and prepares Future Soldiers for initial entry training and job training. Implements and conducts Army awareness programs throughout the Greater and West Cincinnati area. Maintains a network of influencers to include parents, educators and community officials within the city and multiple high schools as well as the University of Cincinnati.

While working in this position i held additional duties such as Master Driver, Hazardous Materials NCO, Key Custodian, Schools NCO.I led and supervised two teams at all times and insured that they received proper training to accomplish organizational goals. I ensured they received this training by giving classes and presentations to ensure knowledge, and also going out and applying hands on training in order to obtain combat and cohesive proficiency. Spearheaded transportation of hazardous materials to a foreign country for a multinational training exercise, where i sent and received items in country and also sending them back to the united states.

I led and trained junior infantry soldiers on basic soldier tasks, as well as how to be effective leaders in a growing army and how to make use of decisive decision making. I lead teams to multinational training events in different countries were we worked with mostly the Australian army and assisted them with their training goals. I also spearheaded the shipment of all sensitive items to Australia, and back to Hawaii.
