The Eisenhower School (formerly the Industrial College of the Armed Forces) offers a premier senior leader education for the development and integration of National Security and Resource Strategy. Our 10-month rigorous accredited curriculum is tailored for select rising senior government and military personnel and industry executives to develop critical, innovative, and ethical decision makers. All graduates will leave our program with a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy. Military officers will also earn Joint Professional Military Education Phase II credit. Our students are selected for their potential as future leaders at the highest levels of the Armed Forces, government service, international partners, and private industry.

-Primary point of contact for coordination and information sharing with the Office of the VCJCS, to include direct liaison between the VCJCS office and Allied Command Transformation (ACT). -Fulfil duties as the director of daily operations of the Political Advisor’s Office. -Act as lead for working group and staff level engagement with U.S. government agencies and Congress on behalf of the POLAD.-Research and convey key points of U.S. policy in coordination with appropriate bureaus at U.S. Dept. of State and Offices within DOD.-Act as the office of primary responsibility for coordination of SACT engagements with the NATO North Atlantic Council at the Permanent Representative (Ambassador) and Ministerial levels.-Act a primary point of contact for the office of the POLAD in matters of NATO partnerships and outreach.-Assisted in the planning and development of a visit of 9 Permanent Representatives (Ambassadors) of the North Atlantic Council to ACT to support the advancement of command initiatives within the Alliance.-Revised the organization and business practices of the Policy Advisors Office to improve performance and increase involvement and contribution within the Command and ensure policy alignment of major projects.-Supported the POLAD on multiple visits to D.C., Brussels and Alliance countries to enhance relationships and further ACT projects. -Assisted and participated in ACT and the POLAD actions during in the semi-annual Defense Ministerial Conference providing input and advice to ACT engagement within NATO HQ.-Conducted liaison and established networks for coordination and information sharing with Joint Staff, DOD and DoS entities to ensure ACT received clear and informed advice on U.S. policy and that U.S. agencies were informed of ACT intent and objectives. -Assisted in the development and review of numerous partnership documents and activities to ensure policy alignment.

-Completed course requirements for advanced level Professional Military Education for officers and civilian counterparts in preparation for high-grade command and staff appointments among a course of 35 NZ Military and Government Civilians and International military officers from 12 nations.-Conducted broad range of study relevant contemporary military in theoretical and practical while developing written and oral communication skills and abilities in research and analysis. -Completed Joint Command and Staff Course Syllabus and its five modules; Command, Leadership and Management, International Relations, Operational Studies, Strategic Studies and International Security Studies. This included enrollment in Centre for Defense and Security Studies, Masters in International Security program at Massey University.-Military liaison for U.S. and USMC matters in Host Nation education institutions to include workshops and seminars.-International exchange officer, fostering military, cultural and intellectual understanding, collaboration and cooperation among host nation and other international exchange officers.

-As regional desk officer for Australia, New Zealand, Mongolia and The Pacific Islands developed security cooperation plans for assigned countries to support the Pacific Command Theatre Campaign Plan, linking and aligning Marine Corps priorities and equities. -Represented Marine Forces Pacific in bilateral forums, executive steering groups and defence discussions to promote Theatre Campaign Plan and Marine Corps objectives. Additionally, participated in high level talks that developed meaningful engagement programs for partner nations, the Marine Corps and Pacific Command.-Maintained situational awareness and professional working knowledge of National Strategies, Policy and regional military issues that impact Marine Corps and U.S. interests in order to provide policy guidance to Commanders and staffs.-Coordinated with higher and adjacent J/G-5 Plans, directorates and divisions including Pacific Command, Army, Navy, Air Force and Special Operations.-Coordinated and executed High Level visits, to include other nation's Chiefs of Defence, to the U.S. and Commander of Marine Forces Pacific visits to assigned nations.-Conducted operations and exercise budget planning. -Developed U.S. Title X funding packages to support partner nation Civil-Military Operations and capacity building events.-Assisted in the planning and development of a Marine Air Ground Task Force Concept in Australia and developed dialogue between OSD, Pacific Command, White House Staff, Australian Government and Defence Force, which led to Presidential announcement of USMC posture in Australia.-Developed Exercise AMERICAL, a combat arms unit exchange between the USMC and French Armed Forces of New Caledonia.-Developed a New Zealand Engagement plan in cooperation with U.S. Embassy Wellington to reinvigorate mil-to-mil relations with New Zealand Defence Force.-Developed exercises and exchanges advancing USMC and Australian interoperability, security capacity and regional goals.
