I am an EMS Research Fellow with the National Registry of EMTs and a PhD student in Epidemiology at THE Ohio State University. Previously, I served as the Division Chair of Public Services and Program Director of Emergency Medical Services at Davidson-Davie Community College in Thomasville, NC. My career in EMS education includes seven years as an Assistant Professor of EMS and numerous adjunct roles since 2005. I began my EMS journey with Forsyth County EMS as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider in 2003 and became a Paramedic in 2005. My experience also includes six years as a Critical Care/Flight Paramedic with Wake Forest Baptist Health AirCare.
