Manager, Facilities Information Systems
Current•Supervise and provide system architecture & design for both the electronic Facility Management System (eFMS) and Enterprise Energy Management System (EEMS), which support an enterprise approach to real estate management that includes facilities space management, project management, maintenance and operation management, contract management and environmental sustainability, which supports and monitors 35,730 active properties, including 8,970 owned and 26,760-leased assets •Supervise the expansion and mandatory budgets for both eFMS and EEMS that average over $14 million annually, while scheduling all work between developers and USPS staff to implement all systematic changes across the organization•Resolve all Office of Inspector General (OIG) Audit findings related to eFMS, while working with accounting to plan and develop new system enhancements to meet the upcoming accounting Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) related to Topic 840 & 842 guidance while maintaining all Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)•Oversee all work with developers and testers using the AGILE methodology to accurately test all system changes and enhancements in both the System Integration Testing (SIT) and the Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) environments, prior to any code being moved to production for both eFMS and EEMS•Directly involved with hiring and supervising the development of a staff of over 80 USPS and contract employees•Oversaw the Requirement development and the Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation and procurement process for a new facilities Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solution to replace eFMS that totaled over $13 million•Serve as the HR manager for the entire USPS Facilities organization, overseeing all hiring and normal employee issues ranging from new employee onboarding to EEO and dispensary issues for over 300 employees nationwide
