I focus my practice on the defense of employers in the workers compensation arena. We represent and advise employers in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana from the occurrence of an injury through settlement, trial and appeal. NBKL also handles multi-state Civil Litigation, national Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance, and related employment law matters. My clients are national employers in a variety of industries including transportation, manufacturing, health care and energy. I am a Director and Vice President of the firm and a past Executive Director and past Executive Secretary of the Illinois Self-Insurer's Association.The Illinois Self-Insurers Association (http://www.illinoisselfinsurance.org), is a non-profit association of companies in Illinois who self-insure their workers compensation liability.
