• Provided expertise through the lens of the lived experience of service members and veterans in a four-year study investigating the community connection to veteran suicide. Interpreted current trends in clinical, ecological, and sociological research on suicide, designing measures, and developing manuscripts for publication. • Selected as the 2022 Distinguished Community Engagement Scholar by the Council on Community-Based Partnerships 2022.

• Founded Soldier’s Heart Ministry to serve fellow veterans with PTSD, Moral Injury, and Transition anxiety through personal discipleship, coaching, peer-to-peer group counseling, retreats, networking, and resource facilitation. • Challenged and led local veterans service organizations in uniting their services and networks to comprehensively and seamlessly engage veterans to improve their well-being and help them thrive in life after service.

Led a team of service technicians, including daily assignments and human resources management functions; work directly with customers to ensure quality and timely service.

• Directly led teams of aircraft technicians working on U.S. Army helicopters by overseeing maintenance tasks to provide fully operational aircraft for all training needs.• Conducted training for aircraft technicians on maintenance methods, corporate policies, and industry safety standards, resulting in the company’s compliance with contract requirements and improved safety of workers.• Oversaw implementation of electronic aircraft logbooks to replace paper logs and streamlined maintenance practices, resulting in the company’s immediate and consistent success in exceeding contract requirements.

• Conducted training for deploying military personnel in Conduct After Capture principles for every spectrum of captivity; ensuring all personnel knew essential life preserving measures to prepare them to return with honor.• Directed and assisted with curriculum development by making sure instructors revised curriculum according to Joint Personnel Recovery Agency (JPRA) Standards and overseeing instructors’ implementation of updated training material. • Served as the Instructor Trainer for 15 to 20 SERE Cadre by developing the instructor staff through role play demonstrations, lectures, and individualized feedback; resulting in all Cadre meeting and exceeding Army training and safety standards.

• Served as a Satellite/UHF/VHF/HF Radio Communications specialist; responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, as-well-as, programming and minor repairs resulting in clear and concise communications for a variety of operations.

• Helicopter Crew Chief, Weapons and Tactics Instructor, Safety and Standardization Instructor/Evaluator, Aircrew Training Instructor. • S.E.R.E. Instructor: Coordinated and executed training for over 10,000 “High Risk of Capture” U.S. Military personnel in Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE); ensuring personnel could survive in enemy territory and/or captivity to return with honor.
