Throughout the course of the summer, I learned a tremendous amount of knowledge about forecasting, severe weather, and the media business. I also became familiar with WSI products. I had the opportunity to practice in front of the green screen giving forecasts while also receiving constructive criticism from Tony. By the middle of the internship, I was making forecasts that were put on-air and broadcast to the public. Throughout the course of my internship, I became more comfortable with my forecasting skills.
