CurrentAs an Administrative and Marketing Support Specialist for a municipal program, I provide essential clerical, administrative, and marketing services to support city functions. I create marketing materials such as forms, flyers, and brochures using design software to enhance the program’s public visibility. I also maintain and update databases, ensuring accurate data entry for program operations and reports, while responding to inquiries and providing customer service to both City staff and the public.I coordinate facility reservations and program registrations, processing applications, managing payments, and overseeing marketing collateral like catalogs and rosters. Additionally, I research and compile data for special projects, contributing to departmental reports. My role also involves scheduling appointments, meetings, and events to improve coordination between internal teams and external partners, while managing departmental inventories and records to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.One of my proudest accomplishments is leading a month-long community engagement campaign in Irvine. I created collectible cards for each local park, encouraging residents to explore various parks while collecting cards at each location. This promotion blended marketing with community outreach, providing an interactive experience for families. Kids enjoyed collecting the cards, while parents learned more about Irvine’s parks. The campaign ended with an award for participants and generated positive feedback from the community, as well as increased engagement with city officials. This initiative showcased my ability to create fun, family-oriented promotions that fostered community interaction and boosted awareness of local resources.This role allows me to combine administrative expertise with marketing strategies, driving efficient processes and fostering community engagement.
