Manage political strategy, outreach and advocacy for Manhattan District Attorney candidate. Building a network of support for the candidate from federal, state, and local elected officials, community boards, business associations, community and faith-based organizations, and special interest groups. Counsel candidate on communications, policy, and election strategy.

Counsel local real estate developer/builders through development process including: liaising with local government and community stakeholders, assessing and anticipating the impact of state and local legislation, coordinating communications strategy, shepherding projects through land use and permitting approvals, as well as management of building design and construction, and coordinating public and private financing.

Built a coalition of over 150,000 supporters for Mike Bloomberg's presidential candidacy in New York State, representing over 25 different constituencies of voters including ethnic, policy, and business based coalitions. Collaborated with policy teams to draft and validate policy documents for a variety of different national platforms. Served as a surrogate for candidate at a variety of different events across the state.

Managed New York City development portfolio for real estate development company. Responsibilities included land sourcing, management of project design and construction, coordination of financing, land use approval and permitting, and supervision of leasing, marketing, and property management. Also served as company liaison to government and community representatives. Special Projects: • Arverne By the Sea – Served as project executive on the Arverne By the Sea residential development site on 117 acres in the Arverne portion of the Rockaway Peninsula in Queens, New York. Managed day to day site operations and human resources for a team of 80 on-site staff. • NYC Build it Back – Served as project lead for Rockaway Beach Boulevard Construction, LLC, New York City’s designated contractor for Superstorm Sandy recovery efforts in Queens and parts of Brooklyn.

Managed and supervised agency communications and relations with Legislative and Executive offices at local State and Federal levels. Evaluated and researched affordable housing policies to draft and advocate for the agency’s legislative and policy agendas. Drafted and delivered public testimony on behalf of the HPD Commissioner before the Local, State, and Federal legislatures. Shepherded agency development projects through local land use approvals and negotiations. Managed agency relations with housing advocacy groups. Supervised agency research projects on affordable housing. Supervised agency’s Office of Regulatory Compliance which oversees HPD’s compliance with certain federal, state and/or local mandates including: labor/prevailing wage, minority and women owned enterprise (M/WBE), language access, and fair housing.

Lobbied the local and State Legislatures on behalf of New York City. Conceived and managed the legislative agendas of the New York City Departments of Transportation, Sanitation, Environmental Protection, Parks and Recreation, Design and Construction, City Planning, Small Business Services, Consumer Affairs, Cultural Affairs, as well as, the New York City Economic Development Corporation, Corporation Counsel, Mayor’s Office of Contract Services, and Immigrant Affairs. Responsibilities included negotiation of bill language, coalition building, and development of media/press strategies.
