Model HVAC systems across two hulls using ShipConstructor and Navisworks to create working 3-D models of the ships duct systems. Additionally, used Navisworks to view other ship systems and run clash reports to check for interferences with other disciplines and coordinated closely with coworkers to resolve design conflicts. Created 2-D arrangement drawings of the 3-D models and populated the bill of materials these drawings. Checked over installed duct systems and performed inspections on spools ordered from suppliers in order to ensure a quality product was to be installed on the ship. Performed various administrative duties such as populating label plates, issuing and carrying out engineering change notices, and populating the departments bill of materials to ensure that the correct parts were being ordered.

This included close coordination with the HVAC Design Engineers.Created 2D extractions of HVAC arrangement and fabrication drawings using ShipConstructor to issue the product to the shipyard for fabrication and implementation.Generated change papers to incorporate revisions made by the Navy which included modeling and 2D extractions pertinent to the modifications requested and issued these to the shipyard.
