For the past 27+ years I've worked at one of Chicago's largest and most respected post-production facilities. I've built a loyal network of clients from agencies like DDB and SCC, and worked with clients as diverse as Disney, Xfinity, Dairy Queen, Old National, and McDonald's to name a few. As an editor I'm fundamentally a storyteller; weaving the best possible narrative for every piece I cut is my ultimate goal and joy. I interact with a variety of clients and an array of personalities, addressing their concerns while maintaining the creative integrity of their projects. Many of my spots have given me the opportunity to work closely with visual effect designers, and I'm adept at interfacing with both agency creatives and graphic artists. Editing requires me to be a strong communicator, technically savvy and incredibly organized. I work well under pressure, know how to multi-task and prioritize, and often juggle several projects at the same time keeping all of my clients happy. Before becoming an editor I gained valuable experience working 4 years as an assistant editor loading, organizing and preparing projects for offline and online editorial and audio mix. I've had some amazing mentors at Cutters through the years, was fortunate to work closely with several senior editors, managing client needs and scheduling the finish for each individual project. My job responsibilities often more closely resembled those of a producer than those of a typical assistant editor.
