The branch has subsequently grown from 10 drivers and 2 staff to 70 drivers and 30 warehouse staff, which has allowed me to be involved with both employee (Company) and contractor negotiations. (Employee & Sub-Contractors)• Responsible for designing and implementing KPI’s• Planning, development and overall management of projects, in collaboration with relevant business divisions.• ISO9001, ISO14001 competent• Full P&L accountability - Identify, manage and deliver cost optimisation initiatives under the Procurement & Logistics scope• Major account management• Champion change management• Ensure that all internal & external procurement activities (strategic and routine) are appropriately managed• Develop, maintain and actively deliver inventory optimisation initiatives to reduce waste, cost and improve cash flow• Identify risks and opportunities and report same to senior management providing opportunities for improvement across the business• Ensure stock take and cycle counting activities, account for any discrepancies and drive improvement initiatives

During my tenure at StarTrack as an Operations Supervisor my major achievement was being asked to move to Perth from our main Sydney depot to work with the operations here. As a result, I was able to take the lowest performing section of the WA site and transforming it into the best performing not only from an on-time delivery point but also went from highest to lowest absenteeism.The role was to build relations with drivers to increase productivity, reduce absenteeism though relationships and maintain the highest consistent OTP in the state.
