Jackfish 2 Central Processing Facility - Steam Generation

Shift duties required operating, monitoring and reporting operating and processing equipment conditions to control operators and shift supervisors, including: - Steam Generation Unit and associated utilities, vessels, piping and instrumentation. o flame inspection o Collect samples for water tests/pass qualities for daily labo Collect addition samples for main labo Inspect all tubing associated with small cooler for indications of steam or glycol leakso Adjust sample cooler flows to prevent blockages in cooler coils.o Perform blow down to pond on pass sample lineso Low Pressure Boiler Feedwater pressure indications of economizer section of generatoro Take note of main fuel gas pressure and of valve positionso Watch for indications of potential leaks on water, steam, and fuel gas systems. o Check combustion blower for indications of vibration and abnormal noises o Check Scanner Air fan for Indications of Vibration and abnormal noises.o Check Pass Flow control Valve outputs to ensure all pass valves are reading close to the same output.Pressure Vessels: o Take level and temperature readings on high pressure, medium pressure and low pressure steam separator vessel liquid levels and temperatures.o Take level, temperature and pressure readings on medium pressure and low pressure steam condensate drums.o Take level, temperature and pressure readings on glycol expansion tank and glycol make-up tankso Watch for indications of leaks and inspect fittings and valveso Verify that transmitters and differential transmitter LI-1401 read reasonably close to each other.o Take readings on instrument air compressor and check filter status.
