Manufacturing Engineer
Current• Supervise four Assembly Lines and one Fabrication Shop ◦ Assign employees to positions based on skills and company needs ◦ Cross train employees to have a broad base to avoid any downfalls due to lack of skill ◦ Through the use of SQDIP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity) boards, communicate and achieve desired goals• Inventory ◦ Manage inventory, making proper changes based on strains on supply, usage changes, and adjustments in the KanBan system ◦ Maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) making proper adjustments as design changes implemented to maintain proper inventory levels • Quality ◦ Make sure testing completed accordingly so every unit leaving facility is up to company standard ◦ Make sure proper tools are calibrated as needed to achieve proper goals ◦ Make sure all gas meters calibrated on yearly basis so as to maintain standard ◦ Work with Service to fill & ship purchase orders for parts to fulfill needed in the field service orders • Safety ◦ Member of the safety council, continuously reviewing current position and reevaluating set goals ◦ JSA (Job Safety Analysis), taking our general JSA definitions and bringing them to each job location writing one for each positions ◦ Presented the monthly safety training to the ITWFEG facility, engaging the employees keeping them aware of safety standards being proactive rather than reactive in our safety awareness• Design ◦ Work with Engineering design group to update current models as well as development of new ones ◦ Assembled test models to assist in the development of our product
