Served as the principal logistics advisor to the battalion command group. Responsible for the health, welfare, morale, fitness, safety and training of the Soldiers, NCOs, and Officers in the company. Accountable for maintaining over $20 million of equipment without loss for three years through two deployments to Iraq. Lead the battalion in exceeding recruiting/retention goals, keeping the most qualified Soldiers in the Army through dynamic re-enlistment campaigning. Developed the concept for “Operation Soccer Jersey”, a non-profit project dedicated to helping children in Baghdad by providing them with soccer jerseys, balls, and school supplies while deployed to Iraq. Received and delivered over 300 uniforms and over 100 soccer balls to local children in Baghdad. Planned and provided oversight for over 400 deliberate combat logistics patrols. Established a self-sustaining food support plan at two Joint Security Stations (JSS) in central Baghdad, which cut down on the number of patrols necessary to sustain the supported units.
