Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. Manages, plans, organizes, directs, monitors, controls, analyzes and coordinates the operations of the Supply and Services Division, to include property management, material management, transportation, supply and storage management, central issue facility management, Ammunition Supply Point operations, SARSS operations, and Cannibalization Point operations, through the use of logistics automation. Demonstrates mastery of general supply program management by applying new concepts and developments to supply problems that may depart from established practices. Conducts in depth analysis and reviews, and issues directives and procedural instructions extending beyond local operations involving multi-level and multi-agency logistics operations. Provides staff and installation support for equipment distribution/redistribution plans and programs. Advises the USP&FO and Command Staff on installation logistics, transportation, and supply readiness status of units. Identifies, evaluates, and makes recommendations for required support available, concerning overall plans and proposals for current and future operations. Determines installation (State) requirements for accomplishing the handling of unusual requests, receipt, storage and disposition of large shipments, large items, hazardous cargo, precious metals, material recycling, and hazardous waste disposal. Performs program responsibility for the USP&FO commercial, equipment and personnel transportation support functions, provides oversight, and establishes operating guidance and policies for transportation support for the state. Performs the full range of supervisory personnel functions. Attends conferences, workshops and meetings on matters of policy and procedures. Plans, directs and executes supply and services requirements for mobilization and demobilization of units.

Strategic Communications Consultant providing operational support to the Product Manager Global Combat Support System-Army (PdM GCSS-Army). Manages PdM GCSS-Army schedule and day-to-day operations. Prepares read ahead materiel, compiles daily Smart Book, and takes meeting notes in order to assign tasks for the PdM. Coordinates PdM travel and files travel vouchers. Manages correspondence and makes minor corrections to white papers and presentations in support of the program. Integral part of standing up the Operations Cell for the Program Management Division, providing up-to-date information sharing across the program and associated organizations

Earned a Meritorious Service Medal while serving as the principal advisor and assistant to the battalion commander for a multi-functional support organization comprised of over 1,000 Soldiers. Developed and managed the battalion staff Officers through coaching, teaching, and mentoring, ensuring their integration to achieve training goals and operational objectives outlined by the commander. Advised and mentored subordinate leaders, ensuring they operate within the commander’s guidance and intent. Successfully commanded the battalion for six months in the absence of a commander. Screened and validated potential candidates for command and primary staff positions within the organization prior to recommending them to interview with the commander, ensuring they were the right fit for the job. Lead the battalion staff through planning for multiple transitions of Soldiers into and out of the battalion during a high intensity operations in Afghanistan. Facilitated an "offensive retrograde" mindset with our coalition partners to enable the retrograde mission to gain momentum, allowing U.S. Forces to withdraw from Afghanistan. Responsible for the closure of 102 bases saving the government $90.5 million in transportation costs. Coordinated major training events several months out with the battalion staff allowing subordinate leaders the ability to plan accordingly to make sure Soldiers had adequate time to train. Utilized unconventional techniques to foster teamwork and abstract thinking when it came to building a solid primary staff team comprised of relatively junior Officers with little to no staff time coming into the job. Earned a Meritorious Service Medal while serving as the Executive Officer to the 2-star commander of the Ordnance Corps. Responsible for management and supervision of the general’s personal staff. Accountable for oversight of the Regimental Team calendars as well as all correspondence flow, in and out of the office. Oversaw internal controls in order to manage information flow, schedule management, and day-to-day operations. Provided insight for training development, concepts and doctrine and force structure as it related to the Ordnance Corps. Prioritized tasks and coordinated meetings and working groups for Army senior leaders and civil servants interacting with the Chief of Ordnance on a daily basis. Ensured the Chief of Ordnance maintained situational awareness on all facets of his command, enabling him to brief senior Army commanders on a weekly basis on the status of the U.S. Army Ordnance School. Challenged and empowered students to think outside of the box in order to surpass minimum course standards and achieve a shared understanding for complex problem solving in a combat environment. Instrumental in transforming curriculum to an Experiential Learning Model that takes instruction away from Power Point and focuses it on relating students' experiences to the learning objective of the lesson. Earned two Bronze Stars in combat and a Meritorious Service Medal over a three year period while commanding a 120 Soldier forward support company. Served as the principal logistics advisor to the battalion command group. Responsible for the health, welfare, morale, fitness, safety and training of the Soldiers, NCOs, and Officers in the company. Accountable for maintaining over $20 million of equipment without loss for three years through two deployments to Iraq. Lead the battalion in exceeding recruiting/retention goals, keeping the most qualified Soldiers in the Army through dynamic re-enlistment campaigning. Developed the concept for “Operation Soccer Jersey”, a non-profit project dedicated to helping children in Baghdad by providing them with soccer jerseys, balls, and school supplies while deployed to Iraq. Received and delivered over 300 uniforms and over 100 soccer balls to local children in Baghdad. Planned and provided oversight for over 400 deliberate combat logistics patrols. Established a self-sustaining food support plan at two Joint Security Stations (JSS) in central Baghdad, which cut down on the number of patrols necessary to sustain the supported units. Maintained the operational readiness rate above 95% while preparing to deploy and while deployed to a hostile environment. Lead the battalion recovery team on numerous recovery missions outside of Camp Taji on dangerous sections of route Tampa. Maintained accountability for all battalion ammunition for mission as well as for training in Camp Taji's ammo holding area. Coordinated & executed security & personnel searches for a medical care/humanitarian aide mission to Assyria Village; over 215 Iraqi citizens were screened & treated as a result of the security my Soldiers provided. Supported the development of the 9th Iraqi Army Logistics Battalion by providing realistic driver's training, welder's training, & motor pool operations training to the Iraqi Soldiers.

Logistics Planning Officer for a 3,500 Soldier, Modular, Heavy Brigade Combat Team (BCT). Responsible for providing logistical forecasting expertise to the BCT S-3 plans team in order to prepare deployment and operational plans for the BCT. Offered sustainment planning support to the BCT S-4, in order to develop the service and support: portion of major operational orders. Assumed partial duties as brigade engineer planner in the absence of the engineer billet. Accountable for the preparation, compilation, and submission of the BCT's monthly Unit Status Report. Provided assistance to the BCT XO as a special projects officer. Served as pay agent/accounting officer for the brigade small/micro rewards program.

Maintenance Management Officer in the Support Operations Office of the DISCOM, 4th ID (M). Responsible for planning and implementing the Reset maintenance plan upon redeployment from Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). Responsible for managing maintenance for 57 M109A6 Paladins, 57 M992 Ammo Carriers and 43 Long Range Advance Scout Surveillance Systems (LRAS3). Responsible for managing and coordinating the requisition, shipment and receipt of Class IX supplies that affect division readiness. Responsible for assisting supported units with organizational and direct support maintenance issues to increase the operational readiness rate within the division. Responsible for coordinating with Corps Material Management Center (CMMC), Logistics Assistance Office (LAO), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and Tank and Automotive Command (TACOM).

Maintenance Control Officer in the Brigade Support Company of the 204th Forward Support Battalion, 4th Infantry Division (mechanized). Provided information and analysis on maintenance for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team. Responsible for direct support maintenance for the Brigade Recon Troop, HHC 2nd BCT, and 3-16th Field Artillery, as well as Armament, Electronic Maintenance, and Ground Support for the 2nd BCT. Responsible for the welfare and support of four Soldiers, and five NCOs. Responsible for accountability and maintenance of 11 wheeled vehicles, 10 computer systems, and other equipment in excess of $500,000.

Platoon Leader in a Brigade Support Company of a Forward Support Battalion which included an Electronics Maintenance Section, a Service and Recovery Section, and three forward maintenance teams. Provided maintenance support for the Brigade Recon Troop, HHC, 2nd BCT, the 3-16th Field Artillery, and the 204th Forward Support Battalion. Responsible for providing backup recovery support to divisional units within the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. Responsible for the welfare and support of 70 soldiers and their families, accountability and maintenance of 56 wheeled vehicles, 2 tracked vehicles and other MTOE equipment valued in excess of $9 million.
