Chris has served as an Army logistician by trade for over twenty two years. He is currently serving as the Deputy J3 Operations Officer for the Virginia National Guard. He has served as the Logistics Division Chief for the Virginia National Guard as well as the Chief of Sustainment (G4) for the 29th Infantry Division. He commanded the 429th Brigade Support Battalion in the Virginia Army National Guard. He planned and coordinated day to day sustainment for a field artillery battalion as a forward support company commander and as a battalion executive officer. Chris has also served on brigade level staffs where planning and coordinating day to day logistics was commonplace. As the battalion executive officer, daily administrative business practices and team building are the focus. He has also served as the executive officer to the Chief of Ordnance, managing calendars, travel and staff operations.Chris served as a substitute teacher while in college as well as an instructor for the Army’s Combined Logistics Captains Career Course (Ft. Lee, VA) for 19 months, instructing multifunctional logistics to future company commanders.
