I'm a hydrogeologist with career interests in leveraging skills in numerical groundwater modeling to address problems related to mining, water resources, and contamination. Over 15 years of flow, fate and transport modeling experience with the MODFLOW suite of software via Groundwater Vistas, the MT3D suite of software, and a variety of analytic element tools. In particular I focus on the integration of groundwater models and 3-dimensional visualization to create simulations of geology as aids toward this goal. I work frequently with ArcGIS, Earth Volumetric Studio (EVS) and MS Access database structures. Over 20 years of experience in hydrogeology, site investigation and remediation including drilling and installation of over a thousand of borings and wells addressing issues with creosote based DNAPL, various chlorinated hydrocarbons, and dissolved metals. Experience developing custom tools for evaluation of Piper/Stiff diagram inorganics to gain capabilities in labeling and symbology for large datasets. Experience working in typical unconsolidated porous media, fractured crystalline bedrock, semi-consolidated and consolidated stratigraphy, and karst environments throughout the United States, Canada, and project work in Australia.
Listed skills include Groundwater Modeling, Groundwater, Modflow, Geology, and 23 others.
