I was employed by Curry’s at their Megastore in Medway. This involved me developing an understanding in computer hardware and software and subsequently improving my ability to digest large amounts of relatively complex information and transform it so that lay customers can comprehend it. I developed exceptional customer service skills and have learnt to tailor a sale to the customers bespoke requirements.

I was employed by Dixons Retail Ltd as a customer advisor at the PC World store situated in Medway. My role involved developing my understanding of computer hardware and keeping up to date with developments with technology and in the industry. I was assessed on a target basis which assisted in expanding my ability to cope under pressure and manage my time effectively. Another aspect of the role involved assisting customers with issues and working with them and my team to ensure an effective resolution that provided a positive outcome for all parties and maintain a friendly, informative and diplomatic image.

I was employed by Sainsbury’s at their Petrol Station situated in Hempstead Valley. My role included working as a cashier and therefore developing my numerical skills, also managing the warehouse and available stock so as to ensure cost-effective outcomes and solutions. I was also required to ensure that both my colleagues and I worked to a high level of health and safety and I performed numerous health and safety checks.
