Account development (existing and prospective) with regard to assessment of and recommendations for high volume/high quality digital printing and marketing asset management solutions from Ricoh as well as Ricoh partners, including Quadient, EFI, RSA, Epson and Kodak. Based primarily in Boston and surrounding metro areas, the position includes assisting and training the supported sales force in identifying customers’ high-quality/high-volume document requirements. Strategizing with management and the sales force to identify new business and customer enhancing opportunities. Includes prospecting, customer visits, presentations, demonstrations, pre-sales proof-of-concept activities and financial analysis/cost justification. Post-sales installation and customer training and implementation is required and includes software and driver implementation at the server and desktop level; managing print quality through color profiling, calibration and color dictionary adjustments.

Responsible for direct sales, hiring, developing, training and production of sales team of ten. Sales Region included Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Responsible for the day-to-day management of all facets of customer relations, sales presentations, major account proposals and account management in the Providence, RI branch. Originally, the the major Ricoh photocopier/mfp dealer in the Northeast, Offtech was acquiired by Toshiba Business Solutions in 2003.

Starting as an outside sales rep in 1985, was promoted to supervisor and then Sales Manager in 1991. In September of 1994, transitioned to a full time Graphic Systems Specialist focusing on the sales of high-volume/high quality digital printing equipment manufactured by Canon.
