About Christopher Hanes

I am a Soldier, an organizational leader, a problem solver and a member of a team. For my entire adult life, I have had the privilege of leading Soldiers in the United States Army, taking me to destinations around the world, and providing me the opportunity to be a part of many unique leadership experiences. These experiences have molded and developed me as a leader, giving me the ability to move a team through multiple lines of effort to reach a common objective and complete the mission. As an organizational leader, I am an ardent believer in establishing systems that facilitate efficiency, and overall effectiveness. I am also passionate about building teams to execute those systems. Building teams that operate on trust is not only important for accomplishing near term goals, but also for mentoring subordinates to make the organization successful in the future. As a problem solver I find it important to differentiate between well-structured and ill-structured problems. I believe it is important to ensure that we are determining the root of the problem and not simply reacting based on our own biases and heuristics. Above all of these things, I am a husband to my wonderful wife Julie, and father to my children Dalton and Loralie. They are my motivation. “Big jobs usually go to the men who prove their ability to outgrow small ones.” Theodore Roosevelt
