Christopher Hanson Email and Phone Number
My career in the construction industry began in high school with two years of vocational building trades. Then attending ITT technical Institute for architectural engineering technology. Then my skills were put to use in custom home building and remodeling. My expertise and knowledge of print reading quickly propelled me into into leading/foreman positions. In the mid to late 90s I worked for a steel fabrication company called O'Neal Steel in Shelbyville Indiana. There, I worked on a 1/2" steel shear and eventually a 650 ton press brake which required print reading knowledge and understanding of geometry/radiuses. Eventually launching back into the construction/building field, l started my own business in custom residential framing/remodeling in 2004. I employed a 6 man crew, to build several custom homes in the $500,000 to $700,000 range and several large scale renovations. In 2006 I joined the Carpenters Union and became a foreman while working on Riley Hospital Research Building 3. My responsibilities involved installing the temporary deck surface for pan style concrete floors. Also, print reading , layout, and installation of pans including radiuses. In 2007 was my first exposure to the insurance claim process. I learned this skill by being a project manager and sales manager for two different companies. Being a sales manager, my responsibility was to recruit, equip, and manage a 10 to 12 person team to be and effective sales force for insurance restoration due to storm damage. I am proud to say many of the people I trained are still working successfully in this arena and still contact me from time to time. Currently, I facilitate business for Cornerstone Restoration. Although our company still does many smaller residential projects, I have shifted my focus to commercial business opportunities. Being in business for a solid 8 years with an A+ BBB rating is statement of excellence I will continue to maintain in the future. Thank you for reading my summary!
