Chris Harris is a partner at the law firm of Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald, LLP, which houses the largest practice in the United States, if not the world, dedicated to domestic and international construction and surety matters, along with its vibrant and burgeoning real estate, insurance and insolvency practices. Having spent his entire legal career with WTH&F, Chris has had extensive experience representing construction contractors, sureties, real estate firms and other commercial companies, both domestically and internationally, regarding a full range of contract disputes in both trial and arbitration proceedings, as well as in mediations and settlement negotiations. While representing contractor and surety clients, Chris has confronted a variety of complex legal issues, including all manner of contract and bond claims, indemnity actions, mechanic's liens, etc., arising from a diverse array of projects, including public roadways, mass transit systems and elevated railways, multi-family housing developments, schools, and various military facilities.
