Artificial Intelligence (AI) agreements), independent contractor agreements, custom publishing agreements, events-related agreements (e.g. facility use agreements; catering agreements) Oversee the review of all permissions licenses which flow through the Permissions department Design, implement and, as necessary, revise all contract template forms and departmental procedures, as well as the contracts library / archive Supervise tasks of all staff (including direct reports and temporary personnel) Perform research for, and present findings to, Macmillan Learning attorneys in connection with potential litigations Coordinate with production, editorial and subsidiary rights departments in researching rights and licenses granted and providing overall support and guidance to all departments with respect to contractual issues and legal considerations Provide Support and guidance to editorial department and the Finance department with respect to the review of all royalty statements for all Macmillan Learning imprints to ensure accuracy and proper payment to authors Show less
