After spending 12 years as a Respiratory Therapist I learned a great deal of life on the front line as a care giver. Carrying for patients and working with some of the best staff taught me lessons about how healthcare actually operates. Now as Director of Clinical Supply Optimization which includes Value Analysis and Utilization Management, we ensure we are utilizing products that are fiscally responsible, operationally efficient, and provide data driven outcomes. Our primary goal is clinical integration and providing data driven opportunities to our end users, while optimizing the products we use, reducing the variation of products and a strong concentration in waste reduction. Our team also leads a robust reprocessing program and extremely efficient recall management system leading to an increase in patient and staff safety. Leading a diverse team with strong work ethics and producing a positive work environment are some of my top priorities. Growing and watching team members succeed is very important to me and I help to support my team to continue to succeed.
