Christopher has in excess of 17 years of planning experience, predominantly in London but also in a rural context, and has been a corporate member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since October 2009. The experience gained in planning consultancy and London boroughs has provided exposure to a full range of development types including residential, retail, office, and community uses. This has resulted in a good understanding of important issues including heritage, transport, and land use.This experience has included presenting to various planning committees, giving evidence at public inquiries, and managing/mentoring of junior members of staff. High profile cases worked on include the Arsenal Regeneration, the Angel Centre a number of developments within the South Fulham Riverside Regeneration Area, and Alperton Housing Zone including EIA development.Christopher can draw upon a good range of skills developed through higher education over a number of years. This includes the more recently acquired Postgraduate Diploma in Real Estate (accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) which has complimented the planning experience and provided added insight into the commercial aspects of property and development. Having worked in high pressure environments Christopher has a track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high quality work.
