Maintaining and operating all BOP equipment and peripheral systems.

Aboard a 6th generation DP2 drillship, I was involved in extensive end of well maintenance, pressure testing, and operation of a Cameron Evo Blow Out Preventer coupled with Oceaneering 132 line MUX Pods. Maintaining all peripheral systems such as choke and kill manifold, standpipe manifold, 6 Direct Acting Tensioners functioning on oil over high pressure.

Brazil

Involved in the commissioning of systems aboard a new-build 6th generation DP2 drillship and delivering the vessel from shipyard to Brazil. Working a 28 day rotational schedule, monitoring the drillship's power management to maintain efficiency and uninterrupted power during drilling with BOP deployed. Overseeing the integrity and maintenance of all engine.

Gulf Of Mexico

Managed the dry-docking of ten (10) vessels chartered for assistance in The Gulf Oil Spill. Managed the decontamination of hulls, shipboard seawater systems, and decks. In addition, managed the repair work aboard each vessel. Released ten (10) vessels from charter accounting for an estimated daily burn rate of $175,000 according to BP Commercial.
