I am a designer of environments for theater, themed entertainment, environmental experiences and exhibitions. I find inspiration in collaborative art practices and never generate my work in a vacuum. Each collaboration I engage in produces a unique solution.Originally from Minneapolis, I started working with Theatre de la Jeune Lune. Since then my work has been seen in NYC at BAM, St. Ann’s Warehouse, P.S. 122, 3-Legged Dog, HERE Arts, Metropolitan Museum of Art and regionally at the Walker Art Center (MN), Children’s Theater Company (MN), Mixed Blood (MN), Pillsbury House+ Theater (MN), Williamstown Theater Festival (MA), Princeton Festival (NJ), Provincetown Theater (MA), W.H.A.T. (MA), Wexner Center (OH) and REDCAT (CA). As an associate designer I collaborated with production designer KK Barrett on Karen O’s psycho-opera Stop The Virgens and on projects with designers Christopher Barreca, David Zinn and Clint Ramos.In themed entertainment I have worked as a creative consultant and art director on projects with Walt Disney Imagineering; Creative Entertainment and Universal Studios, Tokyo. My film+TV+commercial experience includes work with clients including the New York Times, Sensorium, MTV, BMW and VICE.
